How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Call of Duty 2 Big Red One has two button codes, both entered on the chapter selection screen while holding LT and RT together.

Unlimited ammunition: Create a profile named 2ndsquad for unlimited ammunition. This code is widely listed but unverified.
Emplacement ammo glitch: Works only with the guns you can set up on walls, and you need at least one grenade. Ready a grenade, use the set-up gun, and when you leave the emplacement the prepared grenade is still expended.
Machine gun tip: When manning a machine gun, fire in short six or seven round bursts. If enemies get close, go prone, throw a grenade and get straight back on the gun.
Bonus material: Each completed mission unlocks extras such as character files, concept art, vehicles and weapon entries in the bonus menu.
