How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Braid on Xbox 360 has no cheat codes, and its famous secrets are the eight hidden stars that reveal the game's alternate ending when collected.

| Star 1 | World 2-2, ride the slow moving cloud left, which takes a very long wait. |
| Star 2 | Tim's house, built from unplaced World 3 puzzle pieces. |
| Star 3 | World 4-5. |
| Star 4 | World 4-7. |
| Star 5 | World 5-4. |
| Star 6 | World 6-5. |
| Star 7 | World 6-6. |
| Star 8 | World 1-1, appears only after the other seven are collected. |
Alternate ending: Collecting the first seven stars makes the eighth appear in the final level, where some switches become immune to time manipulation. Reaching the last star changes the outcome of the chase and the ending.
Star tracker: The constellation in the sky outside Tim's house lights up to show which of the hidden stars you have already found.
