How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Battlefield: Bad Company lets you enter promotional codes on the Unlock screen inside the Multiplayer menu to unlock bonus kit weapons early.

Find All Five: The five bonus weapons were originally tied to promotions. The M60 came from signing up to the Bad Company newsletter, the QBU-88 from pre-ordering, the Uzi from reaching rank 4 in the online demo, the USAS-12 from checking multiplayer stats on the official site and the F2000 from Battlefield Veteran status.
Wildcards: Multiplayer rounds award Wildcards for feats such as destroying five vehicles of one kind, scoring twenty headshots or killing two enemies with each kit. Collect them to climb the ranks faster.
Gold bars: Crates of gold bars are hidden in every single-player mission; finding them pays out extra cash and feeds the completion achievements.
