How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Assassin’s Creed II has no traditional cheat codes on Xbox 360. Everything below is unlocked or earned in-game.
Abilities: Unlock the following abilities by performing the corresponding tasks:
| Ability | How to unlock |

| Climb Leap | Complete Rosa’s mission “Monkey See, Monkey Do” in Sequence 7. This allows you to jump further while climbing. |
| Disarm Combat Technique | Complete Mario’s “Evasive Maneuvers” mission in Sequence 5. This allows you to counter heavier attacks. |
Equipment: Unlock the following equipment by performing the corresponding tasks:
| Equipment | How to unlock |

| Condottiero War Hammer | Collect 50 hidden feathers and deposit them in the chest in Maria’s room at Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni. It then becomes available at the blacksmith. |
| Auditore Cape | Collect all 100 hidden feathers and deposit them in the chest in Maria’s room. While worn, Ezio’s notoriety stays at maximum in every city except Monteriggioni. Collecting all 100 feathers also unlocks the “In Memory of Petruccio” achievement. |
Finding feathers: Feathers are usually found on rooftops. Walk the rooftops and turn on Eagle Vision to spot them. Check the Feathers screen in the DNA menu to see which city districts still have feathers left.
Free medicine and throwing knives: Loot bodies or pickpocket people to restock medicine and throwing knives for free.
Recover axes and spears: To get your axe or spear back from a dead body, pick up the body and drop it.
Glyph locations and puzzle solutions: Use Eagle Vision to scan the indicated locations for Glyphs. Solving all twenty unlocks the complete “Truth” video.

Align red 4 with grey 1 on the wheel and enter the code, then turn off the globe’s lights and select the orb in the middle of the photo. Finally, line up the wheel as 1=II, 2=III, 3=I.The Truth File 13 – On the stone walling of the base lookout tower at Avamposto Veneziano. Line up the wheel as 5=circle, square, square; 2=circle; 3=triangle, press the red button, then find the symbol near the left-middle bottom of the letter.The Truth File 14 – On a wall near the edge of the water under the Ponte Di Rialto bridge. Choose the paintings with Gods in them: Cupid, Europa, Jupiter, Swan and Zeus.The Truth File 15 – On a higher wall above a wooden hatch at Gilda Dei Ladri Di Venezia. Work from the inside out and connect the layers 1 to 6, the middle two, and 4 to 5.The Truth File 16 – On the floor inside the Campanile Di San Marco bell tower. Locate Naples, Alaska, Greece and Tunguska on the map, then take the staff and stab the photo with it.The Truth File 17 – On the floor of the Torre Dell’Orologio. Line up the wheel as 7=broken square, 9=six-sided hourglass, 1=square with a smaller square inside, then ID the Assassin symbol revealed in the top-right attic.The Truth File 18 – On a wall at San Pietro Di Castello, seen from a roof. Line up the wheel as 6=M or YYY, 0=chalice symbol, 3=<, then move the symbol over the thick blood vessels to finish.The Truth File 19 – On the back of one of the rounded-top walls at Scuola Grande Di San Marco. Choose the paintings with a sun in them: Aztec Calendar, Easter Gate, Sistine Chapel Ceiling, Nazca Textile and Book of the Dead. Then ID the part of the sun photo with the most radiation.The Truth File 20 – On a wall at San Giacomo Di Rialto, seen looking down from a roof with a fire nearby. The layers are not connected: work the 2nd inner layer and 5th outer layer, ID the sun, then align the code wheel any way you like. Finally, move the cursor over the bones to change the skeleton from a monkey into a human. |
