How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Pause the game, open Options and select Cheats, then enter the passwords below. They are not case sensitive on most versions but enter them exactly as shown to be safe.

Easy money: Grab an enemy and interrogate him until he drops a credit card or wallet, then execute him and choose steal. He will hand over whichever item he did not drop, so you get both. A close-range headshot often drops 5,000 dollars or more in credit.
Free armour: When low on health with no armour, take out an enemy and steal from the body. Most enemies drop used armour you can pick up.
Save your cash: Hold on to your money early on. The better weapons only appear in later missions, and cash is also needed for special moves at the theatre and medicine from Doc. Buying all ten painkiller bottles is a sound investment.
