Gils for Crystals: To easily gain Gil, put the crystals you find in battle up for auction at around 100 Gil each.
Gils for Steam Clocks: You will get 500 Gil each time you perform the following. You will need three party members in Bastok. Behind the lighthouse in South Gustaberg is a bush labeled “???” where you can trade a Quus to make Bubble Bernie spawn. Defeat him and he will drop a Steam Clock. Set the second person to Quartermaster and have him wait at the entrance to Bastok Mines. Have him take the clock into the auction house and send it to the third person who should wait at the Mog House in Bastok Markets. Have the third person take the clock to Malene in the north part of the town. Malene will reward you with 500 Gil for each clock. Repeat as desired.
Easy White Magic: To easily level up you White Magic, stand outside your Mog House and cast the desired spell on yourself until you run out of MP. Go inside your Mog House to refill your MP and repeat the process. You will level up your magic by casting spells on yourself.
Grass Cloth: To get Grass Cloth, synthesize Yagudo Necklace with a Wind Crystal to get three spools of Grass Thread. Then, synthesize the three spools of Grass Thread with Earth Crystal to get Grass Cloth.
Sheep Leather: To get a Sheep Leather, synthesize a Goblin mask with a Wind Crystal.
