Unlockables:Unlock the following bonuses by performing the corresponding tasks:BONUS – HOW TO UNLOCKAmy – Talk to her in the Casino as Sonic after finishing Sky Chase.Big – Defeat Chaos 6 as Sonic.E-102 Gamma – Defeat Gamma after finishing Sky Deck as Sonic or Tails. Super Sonic will be avaliable only in Adventure Mode.Easy rings for Black Market:After obtaining the Light Shoes (and Crystal Ring to speed up the process), go to the Casino area and step on the button to make the rings appear. You can do this repeatedly for more starting rings. Note: The ring limit can exceed 999, but you cannot tell exactly how many you have. Listen for the extra life sound to keep track of them. When you are satisfied, go to Emerald Coast and complete the level without getting hit. You will be awarded with however many rings you collected at the end. Go to the Chao Garden, then the Black Market, and spend your hard earned coins.Chao puzzle:You must have 3 controllers and the 3rd one must have a memory card for this to work. Start up the game with all 3 controllers plugged in and get into Adventure mode as any character. Now press START on the 3rd controller. Something on the memory card’s screen will come up saying “CHAO PUZZLE”. Press START again to begin. It is a 3×3 slider puzzle with a random animated Chao doing something for a picture. Use the D-Pad to select the piece you want to move and press A to move it into the open area. You can also move two pieces at once. Press B for a different puzzle. Press START again to quit. There are 15 levels and every 5 you complete there is a congratulatory message from a Chao. After you beat the 15th it will start you at level 1 again.Clean Pause (any mode):Pause the game and hold X Y to clear the game of the pause screen.Hidden Sonic Adventure Art:You can find some cool hidden Sonic Adventure arts made by SonicTeam themselves by putting the GD-ROM inside the computer’s CD-ROM drive. Vintage Sonic T-shirt – Play for 5 hours. Duplicating the Black Chao Egg:-On the Egg Carrier as E-102, when you let Amy out, the cell next to her’s has an orange-spotted black egg in it. Jump on the button in front of the cell to open it, then take the egg and exit from the prison area.You will then be in the Hedgehog Hammer room. Drop the egg into the middle of the platform where there is a round grate. The egg will fall right through the floor. Return to the prison area and there will be two black eggs now in the cell. (NOTE: you can only duplicate the egg once, so take one egg and hatch it in the chao garden, then go back and clone it again!)Free rings hint:As Tails, go to any place with grass and wack the dark green weed with your tail. If you are lucky, a ring or extra life may appear. Be quick to look though as she only flies by for a short time each time.Two Knuckles at once:Play through the game with every character until you get Super Sonic. In Super Sonics Adventure, go to the crashed island to see Knuckles and Eggman (Robotnik). After the clip, press A B X Y Start, then select Knuckles. Go to the same place and there are two Knuckles! This works with other characters, too, but it’s not as funny.Sonic’s different snowboards:Before entering the snowboarding part of the ice stage, press X to get Sonic’s blue snowboard (previously seen in Sonic 3 and Sonic Triple Trouble), or ress B to get Sonic’s yellow board (only seen in Sonic Adventure.)Chao Race Sonic Tokens:You can earn 5 Sonic Tokens from the Chao Race. Simply raise a chao and go to the Chao Race, then choose the first choice and place where your chao is. Then, select a crystal and win each one. A 5th one will appear and choose it. If you have trouble finding levels you have beat and want the tokens, go to the main options at select the second option. You can go to any level you have beaten without running around for it. This is good if you need to collect more tokens, and it tells you which ones you have gotten and where. There are Tokens hidden around the world, which shouldn’t be to hard to find.Two players:When you are playing Sonic’s action stages and Tails is on the screen, a second player can control Tails via a second controller. Any rings Tails collects are added to Sonic’s totals. However, do not make Tails break open any shields, invisibilities or One Up item boxes as those will not be added to Sonic and will be wasted.Sonic Chao:Give a Chao about 20 of the pink animals (rabbits, kangaroos, deer) to make it look like everyone’s favorite hedge hog.Golden Chao baby:There are two open shops in the part of Station Square with the open manhole; the golden chao’s egg is in one of them. However, every time you lift the egg from its pressure sensitive platform, the doors are barred shut. Go to the city hall area where you fought Chaos 0 and look near the walls and grass. An egg-shaped rock is here, which you can put on the platform in the store. You may now leave freely with the golden Chao egg.Easy Emblems as Knuckles hint:If struggling to get the 1 minute emblems as Knuckles, here is a trick that will make it much easier. Find the first emerald shard but don’t touch it! Instead, pause the game and restart the level. Then, run to it as fast as you can. Since the shards act as save-points, find the next one and repeat. Do this until you have all three.Drive with anyone in Twinkle Circuit:After completing the game with all six characters, you can race in Twinkle Circuit with anyone. Simply choose the character you want and go to station square. Once there, go over to the little patch of grass and weeds by speed highway entrance and pick up the ticket. (It will be rotating and thus easy to spot.) Then, go into the Twinkle Park building and, instead of entering Twinkle Park, enter Twinkle Circuit. You will hear a special noise that tells you that the secret is unlocked. This also works when playing the first bumper car portion of the level.Aztec Forest shortcut:It is possible to get to the Frog and the Emerald as Tails in one step. After riding the trolley to the Aztec Forest, you will be standing up high on a platform overlooking the forest. Stand on the edge and look down to the left to see two trees sticking out of the canopy that are close together. Fly toward the trees and land next to the one that is closest to the ledge you jumped from. You should be standing on top of the canopy. Walk around the first tree until you fall through the canopy and end up right next to the emerald and the frog.Killing your Chao:To kill A Chao, hit it 7 times. After a big egg will appear over it for 30 seconds, then it’ll disappearEasier Emblems with Big:On the levels where you have to catch 1000g of fish, catch at least one 500g fish then catch Froggy. Froggy weighs 500g and will thus allow you to complete the stage.Achievements:ACHIEVEMENT – HOW TO UNLOCKMiles “Tails” Prower (10 points) – Become friends with Tails.
