Takedowns:To easily takedown another car, get behind them and use boost. Crash Event score glitch:You can receive a score you recorded in the race previous to the one you are currently in again by selecting “Retry” before the timer counts down at the end of the race. Wait for your score to be tallied and then press X to retry the level.Easy Crashbreaker hint:-Press A when your Crashbreaker bar is at 99%. You will need to tap B two or three times to get a full Crashbreaker.-Use Impact Time on Crash events before the Crashbreaker meter fills because the slower time makes the Crashbreaker easier to bring back up to 100% without having to wildly tap the button.Curves and corners hints:-When going around a curve, do not release A. Instead, press the brake and turn in the desired direction to drift around the curve. This will help lessen crashes.-When drifting around a corner (mainly hairpins) and your car is oversteering into the inside wall, hold NOS and it will move away from the wall. If your car is heading for the outside wall, release Accelerate and it will move away from the wall.-When you turn a corner, put on the brakes. Once you drift around the corner, turn on your nitrous until you get straight on the next road or path.-Glance off a corner (not crash into it) while turning or drifting around it. Hold Boost to return to top speed much faster than waiting for the car to accelerate itself. This is very useful on “Burning Lap” and “Preview” events where the gold medal is difficult to collect. Heavy cars hint:Heavy cars are superior at smashing through traffic, but slower with less Aftertouch responsiveness (but are less affected by wind). They have the most powerful Crashbreakers.Medium cars hint:Medium cars are good all-rounders with balanced weight, speed and Crashbreakers that result in decent crash performances. Light cars hint:Light cars are fast, agile, and jump well but lack power in impacts and Crashbreakers. Aftertouch skills are tested when jumping in strong winds. Better Crash Event ranking:If you do not get the desired rating in a crash event (for example, “Awesome” instead of “Great”), do not press?Start. Instead, choose “Retry” before the final timer starts counting down. Wait until it is done tallying your score, then press?X?to retry the level. When it starts again, you will have the score you ended with in the previous round before that. It will not start with “OK” at the bottom.
